Farriers REFILL Formula

Farrier's Formula is a pelleted hoof supplement from Life Data Labs. It provides the nutrients horses need to build strong connective tissue in the hoof: phospholipids, omega fatty acids, amino acids including methionine, vitamins and minerals including biotin and zinc. It is fed for weak or brittle hoof walls, cracks, crumbling horn and thin, soft soles. As new horn grows down from the coronary band, the improvement is usually visible after a few months. Once the feet are in good condition (typically after 6–8 months) the amount can often be halved. Can be top-dressed or mixed into feed. The twin pack (2 x 5kg) lasts approx. 58 days for a 450kg horse at the full rate.
