Barrier Animal Health offers a range of no-rinse washes that cleanse and soothe, using only natural ingredients. The essential oils are obtained via steam distillation, meaning no ethanol is used in the process. All our products are free from harsh chemicals, safe and non-toxic for both animals and humans. The Barrier range falls into the exempt category of products which use only plant oils as active ingredients, as listed in Annexe IIB (Pesticides) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91 (as amended). They are suitable for use in organic farming systems and require no withdrawal period. Also safe to use under FEI & Jockey Club rules.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE Always shake the bottle vigorously before use. Add 5 capfuls to a 2.5 gallon bucket of water and sponge wash, no rinse required. If there is excess product, you can sweep away with a sweat scraper but it benefits the animal the longer it is left in. Allow to dry naturally. On very cold days use with warm water or directly with the hot cloth method. This product can also be applied directly to a wet coat, sponge or water brush. Safe for daily use. Lavender Wash can also be applied neat to bruised areas, minor cuts and grazes. For animals with highly sensitive skin, it is advisable to carry out a small patch test before use in case of any allergy. I
