Thunderbrook Daily Care is a carefully balanced daily feed designed to provide essential nutrients in a small, palatable serving. It supplies key vitamins, minerals and prebiotics to complement a forage-based diet in a naturally palatable, molasses-free pellet that can be fed dry or soaked.  

Many balancers on the market require large daily quantities, often including additional calories or byproduct fillers. Thunderbrook Daily Care are different: they focus purely on what the horse actually needs, in a simple, concentrated form that supports health without adding extra calories or complexity. This means a small serving provides support for everyday wellbeing, while staying gentle on digestion and suitable for horses of all ages, breeds, and workloads. 

Even horses on good-quality hay or grass can develop nutrient deficiencies due to losses from preserving and storing forage, lack of variety, and grazing restriction. A small daily serving of Daily Care helps bridge these gaps, supporting the nutritional balance that underpins a healthy metabolism, hooves, coat and general vitality. 

Because it’s so concentrated, only a small amount (100 grams) is needed for a 600kg horse each day – making it ideal for horses on restricted diets, easy keepers, fussy horses who won’t eat concentrated powder supplements, or those maintaining weight on forage alone. 

Traditional mineral sources can sometimes taste metallic or bitter. Thunderbrook Daily Care use Intellibond® trace elements, a form in which minerals such as copper and zinc are protected until they reach the stomach. This helps make the pellets naturally more palatable and improves the availability of these important trace minerals during digestion, supporting overall balance and efficient nutrient use. 

To gently support digestive function, Thunderbrook Daily Care contain yeast-based ingredients that provide Mannan-Oligosaccharides (MOS) and beta glucans. These naturally occurring compounds have been widely studied in equine nutrition for their role in supporting a healthy intestinal environment. MOS helps to bind unwanted substances in the gut and support a balanced microbial population, while beta glucans support healthy immune function and overall digestive comfort. 

The base of the pellets is made from timothy grass and sainfoin – both known for their natural palatability and contribution to healthy fibre intake. Sainfoin also contains beneficial plant compounds such as tannins, which can help support normal digestion. The recipe is free from molasses and unnecessary sugars, making it a naturally clean and simple choice for all horses.
