Barrier Animal Health offers a range of First Aid products, made with only natural ingredients. The essential oils are obtained via steam distillation, meaning no ethanol is used in the process. All our products are free from harsh chemicals and safe for both animals and humans. The Barrier range falls into the exempt category of products which use only plant oils as active ingredients, as listed in Annexe IIB (Pesticides) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91 (as amended). Barrier products are suitable for use in organic farming systems and require no withdrawal period. Also safe to use under FEI & Jockey Club rules.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE Gently rub the gel directly on to wounds, sunburn and skin disorders. It can help soothe sore areas, minor cuts, grazes, irritation, insect bites and scaly scabby skin caused by mites or flea infestation. Also possible to apply to hair. Safe for daily use and on the most sensitive of skin. For animals with highly sensitive skin, it is advisable to carry out a small patch test before use in case of any allergy.
This product contains Aloe Vera of the highest quality that contains around 200 vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids. There is also a small amount of gel agent and preservative to keep it fresh and usable.
